Marshall Levin, chief philanthropic officer at JCC Association of North America, is responsible for the organization’s fundraising initiatives, including developing major donor relationships and implementing cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies. Levin has spent decades in the non-profit and for-profit worlds, and prior to joining JCC Association, he and his teams raised more than $1 billion for humanitarian organizations, including the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), UJA-Federation of New York, and the Associated-Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore. Earlier in his career, he founded a national education company, was editor-in-chief of a publishing house, and served as chief creative officer in a cross-platform entertainment company. He is an award-winning filmmaker and author, as well as a former professional athlete and coach. Levin, who has been involved in the JCC Movement for more than five decades, earned a bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College and a master’s degree in community organization from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work.
