I’ve been in the quick lube industry for 17 years managing 6 shops over that time period. My most memorable tenure was my 4 years working as the manager of Grease Monkey here in Fort Collins, Colorado. When I started there I started as a hood technician and within a month took over the manager position. The shop was only doing about $20k a month and on the verge of shutting down due to the inability to create the revenue to keep the doors open. I immediately started restructuring the shop and team members. The year before I was hired the shop had an annual revenue of $320k. In 8 short, hard working months my team and I were able to almost double the revenue and finished off that first year at $580k. It took a lot of hard work, strategic planning, retraining, and changes to accomplish this and I will admit its one accomplishment I'm extremely proud of. I am not only extensively knowledgeable about the quick lube industry, I am also working to obtain my associates degree in automotive technology and am seeking my ASE certifications now. I love working directly with customers and building a relationship with each and every one of them. I love what I do and find it to be more fun than actually looking at it as a job. This in turn makes it more enjoyable and the work days fly by. I love working with my team and being more involved with them and their lives outside of the work realm. I believe in investing my time and energy into my team and making them the best that they can be. Thereby making us the best team possible. I am a very dedicated, hardworking, loyal, enthusiastic, resilient, and passionate employee when i find something I love and believe in. I will give myself 150% to that cause until I reach the desired outcome. I know I am capable of doing great things I've shown it time and time again. I just need a place where someone believes in me and will let me spread my wings and allow me to soar unimpeded.
