I opened an on-campus Passport Services office to support the mission of Western Kentucky University as a leading American university with international reach. The Passport Services office made an immediate impact by processing over 1,000 passports in the first year and by our fourth year of operation, we ended the fiscal year with over $250,000 in total sales. Because of our achievements and superior service, we were presented the 2016 Special Recognition National Award from the US Department of State.I developed and wrote the RFP for Coca-Cola’s exclusive pouring rights beverage contract for WKU. I was a key member in the final negotiation of WKU’s 10 million dollar 10 year contract with Coca-Cola. I directly managed the conversion process from Pepsi to a Coke campus. I directly oversaw and managed WKU’s 20 million dollar vending partnership with Pepsi and Canteen prior to converting over to Coca-Cola. Planned marketing strategies and promotions to generate sales and awareness of the vending options on campus.Successfully managed ten printing business partnerships with annual sales of $750,000 from both local and state wide printers with various roles from offset press, stationery, and digital printing including direct reports from onsite vendors. Designed and developed an online ordering system which allowed departments the option of choosing and working directly with any of our contracted printing business partners. Opened an on campus retail print center. Wrote the RFP for offset press, stationery, & digital printing.Ensured the university’s 1.6 million pieces of mail was handled & delivered properly. Implemented automated mailing postage savings program which initially saved WKU an estimated $75,000 per year in postage from our $700,000 budget. Managed USPS contract station (University Post Office) and effectively streamlined postal delivery routes from multiple deliveries to one stop per building resulting in substantial savings.

Successfully opened and grew The UPS Store from the ground up. Annual sales were close to 1/2 million dollars a year which provided shipping, postal, & printing needs for a newly developed area in the Bowling Green community.Provided managerial oversight on the day to day operations and handled all the back office operations from developing marketing materials, budgeting, and strategic planning.Sold the business after successfully growing it and attracting investors who were intrigued and interested in continuing to expand the business.
