Attestation letter from current RSO will be provided for addition to gaining institution’s NRC license.Proton therapy: Shared responsibility for routine QA on an IBA ProteusONE pencil beam scanning system.SRS/SBRT: Proficient in Brainlab iPlan planning and routine QA procedures. Skilled in the development of program development for SRS and SBRT. SBRT planning in RayStation and Tomotherapy TPS.Treatment planning: Skilled in VMAT, IMRT and 3D planning in the RayStation TPS. Skilled in Tomotherapy planning. Experience using Pinnacle and Eclipse.Machine QA: Routine QA performed on two Elekta Versa HDs, a Tomotherapy HD, and an IBA ProteusONE system. Machine QA equipment used include the SNC Profiler, SNC DailyQA3, SNC TomoDose, IBA Blue 2 3D water tank, and numerous ion chambers and electrometers.Chart checks, patient QA: Chart checks performed regularly in the MOSAIQ R&V system. Programming: Skilled in creating tools using Python 2 and 3 to create standalone software as well as using the RayStation API. Experience using the GEANT4 particle transport toolkit. Familiar with C++, C#, R, MATLAB, Mathematica, and LaTeX.Patient education: Developed a patient education course (“Radiation 101”) for incoming Radiation Oncology patients. This program was found to be very helpful and welcomed by the staff and faculty.
Deployed to Kandahar Province, Afghanistan with the 713th Engineer Company (Sapper). My mission was to provide emergency medical treatment, limited primary care, force health protection and evacuation in a variety of operational and clinical settings from point of injury or illness through the continuum of military health care while the Company worked to complete its mission of finding and destroying Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). Assigned the additional duties of Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO) as well as Information Management Officer (IMO). In carrying out these appointments I managed user accounts, conducted Tier I support for users, maintained a SIPR/NIPR Access Point (SNAP is a military tactical satellite that allows for access to both classified and unclassified systems in a deployed, mobile environment), maintained and installed network equipment, built workstations for customers, and implemented security policies to ensure information assurance.Deployed to Kandahar Province, Afghanistan for six months with the 1413th Engineer Company. My mission was unchanged as with the 713th however the 1413th Engineer Company’s mission consisted of deconstruction and construction throughout Afghanistan.Worked at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center where I managed others to complete tasks as directed from the operations Non Commissioned Officer In Charge (NCOIC). Main responsibilities included ensuring venues were prepared for scenario execution and assisting units and departments in their training. I also functioned as a medic as needed during day-to-day operations.Final assignment was at the Indiana Medical Detachment clinic in Franklin, IN where I assisted in the daily operation of the clinic and was the non-commissioned officer in charge of the laboratory. Specific duties included phlebotomy and the processing of specimen.

Assigned the task of aiding the College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office (later assisting other offices as well) in transitioning to paperless document storage under the direction of the EDS project manager. Worked independently in the day-to-day operations of document acquisition, storage, and archival. Archival was achieved using the Microsoft SharePoint and OnBase enterprise content management environments.When problems arose I worked as a team with the other project assistants to develop solutions to our issues. Worked directly with customers to ensure that they were able to navigate our systems. These EDS systems enabled them to access their documents more efficiently than ever – increasing productivity, information security, and reducing paper footprint.Maintained security and confidentiality of all documents and information that I was entrusted with to include the entire directory of SSNs for all IU faculty and students as well as other critical data types as defined by the IU Data Stewards.
