About Marta Sousa
Creative fields are the areas where I feel most comfortable. Coming from a Communication Design background I have worked as graphic designer for 7 years in different design studios and communication deparments. At the same time I had invested in makeup artistry which allowed me to explore other creative sides such as working for fashion editorials, TV and film. I'm currently one of the founders and General Manager at the company I own Como Branco Weddings (www.comobrancoweddings.com). It is the role that takes most of my professional activity where I design, plan and style weddings and have a consistent relation with our clients that live abroad and wish to host their weddings in Portugal. I also take a big part in managing the company by defining strategies and goals, manage the communication and marketing plans as well as finances. Having my own business gives me the opportunity to manage teams and work closely with vendors and suppliers in the hospitality and tourism areas.
