My role at Cision began as a Temporary Editorial Calendar Researcher. I communicated with media contacts to receive the upcoming year's Editorial Calendar to include in Cision's extensive database. In January 2018, I was promoted to the Magazine Research Team. My responsibilities on the Mag Team included the completion of Top Tier media updates, daily.

My role as the PR Intern included daily client-related media monitoring, the drafting of pitches to media, client-facing communications (media monitoring updates, pitch updates, etc.), and potential lead and pitch research. I learned to use HARO as well as CisionPoint to aid in finding pitches and find journalists to pitch to.
