Organized meetings for the Task Team, including with community leadership and other partners. Collaborates with internal and external staff to create guidance documents. Worked with communities, federal partners, the province and health authorities to roll out rapid COVID-19 testing to remote and rural First Nations served by NAN. Provided speaking notes for Chief's Calls and reviewed notes for Wawatay radio broadcasts. Managed two staff members in this role.

During my practicum, I assisted the Communicable Disease and Surveillance Unit in developing their Enhanced Surveillance Plan for Mass Gatherings. This involved completing a literature review, synthesizing my findings into a position paper, and developing decision support tools. I was also able to shadow an enteric outbreak investigation, for which I produced a food item survey and analyzed the results in R and SAS.

At Heritage House, I got to live in beautiful BC and worked both independently and as a team to convert print titles to digital format. I used Word and Excel to track corrections and errors in retail listings, designed attractive ePubs using basic HTML and CSS, and communicated with editors to ensure ePubs were correct and the design of the print file adjusted to the new format.
