I began as a F2F fundraiser in March 2017 and quickly navigated my way through several promotions of management programme to my current role which includes;• Developing and managing business strategy including work flow, work rate and continual business development.• Strategic business planning and forecasting- interpretation and analysis of data capture and KPI’s. • Administration and organisation of HR fundamentals; payroll, budgeting, performance and people management, contracts, disciplinary proceedings and redundancies, disciplinaries, client services, building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and large UK based charities. • Managing recruitment drives, interviews, training, learning and development on a weekly basis. • Liaising with clients and handling complaints for supporter care departments. • Overseeing quality control of provided services and data, maintaining company ethics and policies, ensuring GDPR compliance. • Took over a region on the brink of collapse and re-built it to be the consistently highest performing region in the company• Supervising and consulting with management to ensure increase in performance and buy-in from other regions.

Whilst I was finishing my Therapist studies, I worked in a high dependency home, supporting 6 adults with severe learning disabilities. This included daily trips into the community supporting service users, distributing medication, cooking and cleaning, personal care, Health and Safety, being an advocate of the Milestones Person-centred approach.

To pay for my Therapist Training, I took on the role of Assistant Manager with the following responsibilities;• Quality control, ensuring customer satisfaction through recruiting, training and supervising staff, liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives.• Agreeing budgets and assessing to improve profitability • Delivering outgoing and friendly high quality of customer service, handling enquiries, reservations and complaints. • Overseeing stock levels and rotation, ordering supplies. • Handling cash, credit cards, receipts and vouchers. • Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety guidelines.• Ability to manage the floor and also assist in the kitchen handling, preparing and serving food.• Delivering and acting on constructive criticism from social media and online review avenues. • On several occasions was applauded for my work, particularly as many 5* Trip Advisor Reviews were written about shifts that I was managing.

I combined my two passions of psychology and music, realised I loved working and nurturing others, so started teaching singing on a 1 to 1 basis. This took me to do a lot of freelance work in the Foster Care system, I also ran workshops with local choirs, weekly well-being sessions in local schools for children with SEN and adults with mental health issues. My passion continues with this to this day and I am in the process of creating a mini-series about the importance of music for minority groups e.g refugees and dementia patients.
