Reported directly to Bard College President on operation of the four Bard High School Early College schools operated in partnership between Bard College and the public school systems and providing a two-year Bard College liberal arts & sciences degree within the four years of a public high school (1600 students, $15 Million in combined operating budgets), and the Bard Early College Center at the Harlem Children's Zone Promise Academy, which provides liberal arts college classes to high school students; led successful launch of BHSEC Queens in 2008, BHSEC Newark in 2011, Bard Early College Center at HCZ Promise Academy in 2013, and supported the launch of BHSEC Cleveland in 2013 and BHSEC Baltimore in 2014; negotiated complex operating agreements between public and private educational institutions; represented Bard College and BHSEC in budgetary and policy negotiations with state and local governmental agencies; oversaw and managed accreditation, budget, personnel, operations and strategic planning on behalf of Bard College for the BHSEC schools; worked with BHSEC principals in hiring, evaluation, training of faculty and staff; lead liaison to independent researchers on research and evaluation effort of school and student outcomes; raised over $10 Million in government and foundation grants.
