About Martha Steele
I began working in radio in 1984, took time off to raise a son from 1998-2008.I re-entered the radio field on a part-time basis in 2009. The range of my vocal abilities is quite extensive. Even though I learned to edit my work by splicing tape with a razorblade, I have been able to quickly get up to speed with digital editing and can use Cool-Edit Pro quite well. I voice commercials and produce them. I also work on station imaging and supervise the part-time staff. I do live broadcasts as well.I am the co-founder of the podcast 3 Book Girls which is on SoundCloud and iTunes. It's a bit on the inappropriate side, but that's where the fun is! It helps me talk about my passion for books, and is much more of a free-range experience than broadcasting.
