As the training profession has evolved, so have I. I started as a leadership, management, and communications program manager for GE, a world leader in corporate education. There I gained knowledge about adult learning principles, instructional design, and classroom facilitation. At MasterCard, I became adept at virtual instruction and creating eLearning courses, using Articulate and Captivate software. I also helped design and implement a knowledge-management system and accompanying wikis and blogs for the sales team. At Radisphere, I led the effort to reduce radiologist training time from three days to three hours, saving thousands of dollars in travel cost. Certified as a Brainshark software Author and Administrator, I implemented and managed Radisphere’s first Learning Management System. Most recently, at Turbonomic, I have gained experience running certification programs, including developing and managing pre-work and interim assessments, as well as finding and managing testing and proctoring software. I have also become familiar with WordPress and HTML in order to update content for our internal and external websites.Past publicity chair board member of the Association for Talent Development of Southern Connecticut, (ATDSCC), I have helped migrate the chapter’s website to new software and enhanced the chapter’s presence in traditional and social media. In addition to corporate work, I have prepared students for various standardized tests, with students typically improving scores by 100 points or more per section. I am known for excellent customer service, strategic outlook, entrepreneurship, problem-solving and teamwork.Specialties:• Instructional design from needs assessment to evaluation and improvement• Adult learning principles• eLearning software: Articulate, Captivate, and Brainshark• Classroom facilitation• Virtual or remote instruction• Internal consulting and coaching• Change management• Working with subject matter experts
