Orientation, Transition, And Parent Programs

Graduate School Of Education, Office Of Admissions

• Collaborated with operations administration and university faculty to verify and process transcripts, documentation, and applications for graduate admissions. •Communicated with prospective students through means of 1:1 admissions counseling appointments, phone conversations, and emails to increase the number of submitted applications and break down barriers. •Created LinkedIn content to encourage new students to connect with the intent to increase student retention.

Cross Cultural Leadership Development

•Created a mentorship program called “One Caring Person” for international students and developing the project from the creation of the idea to evaluating the final project. •Engaged critically with the creation of the program, standards for multicultural competency in mentors, and creating virtual activities to break down barriers and encourage participation.
