Performing all or some of the following duties in all roles with varying levels of responsibility:• Overseeing daily operations with meticulous attention to detail• Planning, organising, controlling, directing and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specification and budgets• Preparing construction schedules, budgets and milestones, monitoring progress against established schedule• Developing and implementing a quality control programme• Obtaining profitable deals and negotiating contracts with external vendors • Conducting meetings with various stakeholders to establish and specify the project scope and deliverables• Providing strong leadership and management for design and construction teams• Supervising, coaching, training, motivating and mentoring personnel, setting clear goals and expectations, providing relevant feedback and discipline as required• Establishing, implementing and overseeing effective systems, processes and controls• Delivering a high standard of sales, administrative, marketing and financial support• Customer service and liaison, building strong working relationships and effective communication channels with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and other key stakeholders• Resolving complaints and enquiries• Planning and managing team performance, skills development, talent, and culture to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies and increase competencies• Data entry and database management, maintaining meticulous records• Reading and interpreting technical documentation• Investigating damage, accidents and delays at construction sites• Preparing progress reports and issuing progress schedules to senior managers and clients• Conducting inspection of project specs, drawings and site; advising on technical feasibility and related issues • Producing various presentations, analyses, correspondence and other documentation

• Overseeing farm operations including orchard irrigation, fertilisation and pest control• Managing procurement, stock control, logistics and quality control

• Workshop duties:o Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.o Ordering, and selecting, structural steel for fabrication.o Marking out steel sections and plates to be cut and shaped.o Cutting, drilling and shaping of marked-out steel sections and plates using hand tools, flame-cutting torches, heating, steel-cutting machines, radial arm drills, guillotines bending machine and machine tools.o Assemble and align parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments.o Joining metal sections using various welding techniques and bolting.o Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision.o Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing and grinding.o Providing strong leadership and management for fabrication teams.o Developing and implementing a quality control programme.o Investigating damage, accidents and delays at the workshop.• Site duties:o Ensuring works comply with project specifications and drawings.o Communicating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, the public and the workforce.o Preparing progress reports and issuing progress schedules to senior managers and clients.o Obtaining profitable deals, negotiating contracts with external vendors and assigning responsibilities to contractors and employees.o Investigating damage, accidents and delays at construction sites.o Planning, organising, controlling, directing and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specification and budgets.o Providing strong leadership and management for construction teams.
