With 30 years of experience in financial services industry (began in 1985), I became an independent financial advisor. Being 100% independent, I have access to literally thousands of investment alternatives. I am not employed by a firm like many other advisors are; and who recommend that firm’s proprietary products to clients which may or may not be in the client’s best interest. Being involved and participating in the community is critical to me. I grew up in Kansas and currently live in western Sedgwick County on the family's farm. After graduating "with distinction" from the University of Kansas School of Journalism, I was a political reporter, anchor, and news producer for television stations in Topeka and Wichita. I serve on the Boards of Directors of the Wichita Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the Sedgwick County Fair Association and volunteers for the Arc of Sedgwick County. I am a member of the Goddard First Baptist Church. My husband, Richard and I have two children and serve as adult Boy Scout and Girl Scout volunteers.
