Lead architect for a unified communications product the involved the integration of BT email and BT VoIP services. The project involved the high level roadmap, design, workshops and supplier evaluation. During the period I presented to the likes of BT, Microsoft US, Microsoft UK, Erickson, Nokia, Siemens, Sylantro, Broadsoft, TCS, Tech Mahindra. The presentations were targeted at all levels including director level CTO,CIO, Sales & Marketing, Architects, Designers, Project managers.

Enable independent software developers to produce products and services that can be sold and marketed to BT Business ISP customer base. This involved working with the product line on requirements/certification process and designers on the design of portal, service orientated architecture, software development kits and online test and integration tools.

Lead architect for the BT Business ISP customer portal and self-care. This portal was based on Microsoft ASP.Net 2.0 / SQL technology. The portal was one of the biggest .NET 2.0 deployments in the UK supporting over 1m customers. The business services were based on a Microsoft system stack of ASP.NET, SQL Server, BizTalk, CSF, HMC and siteminder.Work includes working with product managers, process designers, outsourcing partners, and external supplies, with responsibility of passing high level technical requirements and design to external suppliers. One of the key challenges was the delivery of single sign on between a diverse set of web platforms ( .NET, Exchange, Weblogic).

Design of the first web services interface between BT and Yahoo to provision and mange customer assets stored on the BT and Yahoo platforms. Design of an online diagnostics system that links technologies such as web controls, ICM, Radius, IDA and DNS into a simple customer facing solution Design of the world’s first interactive photographic kiosk, end design included both customer facing kiosk design, and back end OSS and content management tools. A thousand kiosks were built and rolled out in major retail locations around the UK.

Client design lead providing online gaming services to telcos in the UK, US, and Australia. During the time I was responsible for the capturing of customer requirements, working with design agencies, high level design to managing a development team to deliver multilingual client software.The Wireplay V2 client eanred a British Computer Society Award Medal.
