Experienced Owner with a demonstrated history of working in the composites industry. Skilled in Polymers, Plastics, Technical Qualifications, Thermoplastic sandwich technology Strong entrepreneurship, Developed the FITS AIR and FITS BASE System, thermoplastic sandwich panels for aircraft interiors, basis PEI, Ultem(batch) and a FITS panel(continuous) for the automotive, construction, furniture market based on PP or PA, PolyAmide or biopolymers . And a unique part manufacturing technology is developed, worldwide 14 granted patents FITS System. I dedicated my life to the development of the FITS Systems, since all what moves have to be lower in weight. For large series of part production, Sandwich constructions are part of the solution, however nowadays available sandwich materials lack these properties, Nomex thermoset for aircraft interiors or tubular honeycombs for automotive/building. By creating a vertical foam and bonding to the core in one step an unique sandwich panel is created which has superior bending strength in all directions, a very high crush resistance and is thermoformable which opens a total new way of part manufacturing for sandwich panels and the parts are recyclable ,which is a must. To my opinion the FITS Systems will bring a sandwich material revolution, because of there low cost panel manufacturing and low cost part manufacturing with dedicated machines and no hand labor. For FITS AIR, a new process of facing manufacturing has been developed to significantly compete with Nomex phenolic structures. All together a once in a lifetime business opportunity FITS AIR, development at TRL 6 and globally protected with at least 4 granted patents, FITS BASE will most probably be a incredible business since it brings the lowest cost thermoplastic sandwich panel with the best mechanical properties and thermoformabillity with numereous applications in cars buildings, furniture and so on. After the pilot phase it requires a Euro15 mln. investments in the upscaling to continuous manufacturing, but market requirements could be in the 100 millions of m2 of FITS BASE panel/year.We are open to discuss interests to bring FITS AIR and FITS BASE to the market . Martin Th. de Groot CEO and Founder. FITS Technology is an IP company which wants to sell/licence their unique technology and patent position.

Ceo And FounderFits Technology Jan 2005 - PresentDriebergen,The NetherlandsDeveloped FITS AIR, a FITS thermoplastic sandwich panel for Aircrafts, trains(batch manufacturing) and FITS BASE, a FITS panel based on PP or PA, (batch and continuous manufacturing), for automotive, building, furniture and so on. Both panels benefit from the thermoformable part manufacturing technology which makes parts in seconds and FITS parts are recyclable. FITS AIR an FITS BASE are protected with 8 worldwide granted patents. Performed research, filed patent applications, contacts with customers like Airbus, Boeing, BEA etc. Developed total new processes for the manufacturing of thermoplastic laminates, sandwich panels, application technology's. Visionair in composite sandwich technology. Creative in FITS part design for all kind of transport industries FITS AIR manufactured at a size of 1,28 x1,5 m with outstanding mechanical properties. FITS AIR and FITS BASE panels are high strength, low weight, have no adhesive layer and are thermoformable in seconds. The FITS System is disruptive. FITS BASE, creating consolidated facings in-situ foamed foam and adhesion of foam to facings all in one step. Due to the vertical oriented cells, high compression strength FITS AIR and FITS Base have a high crush energy absorption. Why FITS: To compete with Nomex sandwich structures, You have to beat them on their weakest spot: added weight in part manufacturing.Thermoplastic foam does not have the compression strength to compete with Nomex. For this reason the FITS System is developed, creating a vertical oriented foam core with a very high compression strength, and a good shear strength and NO adhesive layer(saving weight and costs). This totally thermoplastic sandwich panel gives the required strength and panel weight and saves significant weight in part manufacturing and solves all drawbacks of Nomex sandwich structures: No telegraphing, No edge effect, No water adsorption, No hand labor and parts are recyclable.
