I am a driven and greatly skilled football coach who has made the successful transistion from a playing career at a high level to become the senior U23 professional coach at Barnsley FC. I have successfully guided multiple players from the academy to first team football to make their senior debuts in league one and the championship. I demonstrate exceptional communication, teamwork and leadership skills in the delivery of an engaging coaching programme to Barnsley FC's U23 squad, applying personal experiences in the game to create a positive learning enviroment that also encourages players ownership, hard work, strong tactical awareness and a consistently competitive approach to the game. KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:Youth development: Possesses a proven record in helping young players progress to first team football within an elite Category 2 academy by ensuring they are fully prepared for the unique demands of the modern game.Academy Coaching: Highly experienced in working to both EPPP development guidelines and specific club coaching philosophies when nurturing young players, balancing all aspects of their learning with the specific requirements of their age group.
