- Problem solving and laboratory work with elements of technical service and product development. I obtained the P401 qualification, and worked in a laboratory analysing debris and organic samples for asbestos using a stereomicroscope and a polarised light microscope (PLM). I was trained to technically review certificates and documents as part of Quality Control, and therefore reviewed paperwork before being published to the clients. When the laboratory supervisor was absent I was appointed supervisor, this developed my leadership and communication skills. Other responsibilities include being appointed the roles of; First Aider, Fire Marshal and Health and Safety representative for the regional office.
