• Leader of maintenance check flight (MCF) pilot team. Organization and execution of ground and flight checks after heavy maintenance visits (HMV). • Since 2015: MCF pilot for the SWISS Airbus A320 family.• Simulator acceptance pilot on the A320 and A321 simulators of the Lufthansa Aviation Training facility (Zurich). On-site acceptance of a new A320 Level D full flight simulator in September 2014.• Type rating flight instructor (TRIr, SFI), member of the Simulator Exercise Design Group.

• Wide-ranging operational experience in helicopter missions: troop transport, external cargo operations, search and rescue (SAR) flights day and night, mountain flying, fire fighting missions, winch operations, subsidiary missions for the police and civil entities.• Mai 2001 – March 2005 / February 2013 – Current: Reservist pilot (German: Milizpilot), 33 service days/year. • October 2007 – January 2013: Part-time professional military pilot. Additional type-rating for EC-635.• November 2008: Upgrade to Captain on AS532 Super Puma.• 2006 – 2013: Multiple one-month peacekeeping missions in Bosnia for EUFOR and in Kosovo for KFOR, including assignments as chief of the local air transport mission detachment (pilots and aircraft engineers).• April 2006 – September 2007: Full-time professional pilot.

• Testing of new pilot assistance systems (envelope protections with active sidesticks: torque and vortex ring state protection), display and sensor systems (dynamically generated approach trajectories, obstacle detection) on the helicopter EC-135 ACT/FHS (Advanced Control Technology / Flying Helicopter Simulator).• Forward-looking infrared (FLIR) measurement campaigns on Bo-105 day and night (Kiel, North Sea).• Consultation on the development of novel concepts and preliminary testing on research simulator.• Project participation: HALAS, ALLFlight, myCopter.

• Overall project management of a 58 million CHF project for the development, integration, testing and delivery of two full-flight Level D helicopter simulators (EC-635 and AS532 Super Puma).• Subcontract management with different suppliers (Airbus Helicopter, RUAG, others).• Requirements management between developers and contractual partner Armasuisse.• Definition of operational test manuals and implementation of internal acceptance tests.
