Following the acquisition of ADHQ Engineering I have continued to work on Industrial Ice Pigging applications at SUEZ. As part of the equipment delivery centre I lead engineering and project delivery while maintaining a role in technical sales supporting international business units.

After completing a PhD, I, along with three colleagues, formed ADHQ Engineering Ltd., with the aim of commercialising Ice Pigging technology, the topic of my research thesis. In 2012 this lead to the formation of a joint venture with German ice machine manufacture Ziegra through which Ice Pigging Equipment was marketed. ADHQ development a range of fit for purpose, CE marked, industrial Ice Pigging products for use in industry. This required detailed design of mechanical and electrical systems, sourcing of a wide range of specialist components, management of various subcontractors, final assembly, quality assurance, testing, commissioning, delivery and documentation. In October 2015 ADHQ Engineering was acquired by Aqualogy (now SUEZ).

Competitive Measure was formed for the purpose of running a three year research project into safety in the sport of equestrian eventing. This included 35 days of field testing at competitions, data analysis, reporting of results and presentations at 3 international conferences.As one of two director/employees I was responsible for the following:Project proposal – Producing the project proposal for equestrian safety field research funded by British Eventing (BE) and Goodyear resulting in the company formation.Design and construction - A special portable cross country obstacle with built in force measurement system was constructed along with supporting field testing infrastructure.Data acquisition - Operating the force data logging and high speed camera systems during 32 days of field testing followed by data analysis and reporting.Presenting – Results presented to BE committees, international federation safety conferences, achedemics, sponsors and the press.Safety Development - Following field testing Competitive Measure developed the ‘reverse pin’ safety system in use in the sport today.
