Young and ambitious executive with broad experience of building, developing, and running businesses. My core experience is from life science where work has spanned from driving central corporate programs such as strategic planning and investment governance with the C-suite to running all functions in a subsidiary as managing director for Coloplast in Sweden with full P&L responsibility and organisational leadership. I get excited about identifying game-changing opportunities, building the investment case and executing the required changes. That makes me tick and could be anything from starting a student organisation across multiple universities, building a new subsidiary, leading a business turnaround, or advising the C-suite on how to manage corporate investments, which have all been part of my career. A common denominator has always been a cross-functional holistic point of view and a genuine desire for excellence and impact – those are core beliefs for me – and I thrive in the intersection between strategy and execution along with people who want to move forward. I also take great pride in creating something that outlasts me, such as the student organisation or some Coloplast’s corporate programs that still work of the design and tools created during my time.To succeed with this, I believe you must act like an owner and create followership. Also, when the wind does not blow your way. Each context is unique in leadership, but I try to lead by setting a good example and I think you go far by creating meaning, being transparent and involving with your co-workers. Communication, organisation, and non-hierarchical problem solving are also vital for me and I remain humble about what it takes to stay a great leader. My strive is to be a great leader and I find it enjoyable and challenging to develop myself via formal education (on functional topics and leadership), real-world experiences and coaching.Finally, I want to use myself and whatever talents I might have as a force for good. Practically, this means I want to work in companies that solve key challenges to society and I am very excited about the immense opportunities within the life science and de-carbonising the economy.
