Repsol's position in the Eagleford was a 50/50 Joint Venture partnership with Stat Oil. The role was to coordinate and align capital budgets between the two companies and represent Repsol within the StatOil partnership.

Managed a large engineering team responsible for all aspects of operations. Focus was on optimizing production and reducing OPEX to drive additional value. Responsible for Eagle Ford artificial lift strategies and the corresponding build-out of infrastructure related to this strategy.

The team optimized a 10-rig drilling program focused on production growth while managing offset land obligations, complex marketing, and midstream agreements, all while determining appropriate well spacing across all of the Eagleford phase windows. The team designed, permitted, constructed, and commissioned over 200 miles of 10-20” high-pressure natural gas pipelines and over half a bcfd of compression. Developed the strategy and managed the execution of Talisman’s water business, which was required to support an 11 rig development program. Designed and built a fully-integrated source, storage, and water pipeline transportation system. Responsible for more than 600 operating wells, 6 oil batteries, 2 gas compression plants with over 4,000 boe/day heavy oil production under water flood. Also oversaw engineering aspects of a Talisman operated oil terminal receiving Talisman and third-party production averaging 25,000bbl/day which was shipped via Talisman-owned pipeline system.
