For over 20 years I have been working within the Payments, Paytech and Digitalisation industry in Nets which has broad me a huge knowledge of the industry including Payment Cards, Financial Acquiring of Payment Cards, Card Issuing, Payment Products, eSecurity and Digitalisation & Information Products. Since 2003 my work has been focused in the area of deep business and strategic understanding together with commercial insights from a financial and performance perspective. Strategic Business Finance and Consulting with stakeholders in and outside the organisation is a central part of my work. From 2010 I have had the pleasure of being the leader for different teams of Controllers. Currently I am heading the Business Planning & Projects team within the Merchant Services Business Unit of the Nets Group (now part of Nexi Group) and I am also holding the position as Managing Director for Concardis GmbH (a Nets group company). The last 10 years I have been a board member of several boards of directors incl. e-Boks which Nets co-owns with PostNord in which capacity strategic thinking and prioritisation have been key focal points.I have extensive experience and competences with Business Controlling and Financial Management tasks and leading finance professionals. I have also worked on several large strategic projects including the successful sale of Nets in 2013-2014, IPO of Nets in 2016, the sale and delisting of Nets in 2017-2018 and latest the sale of the Nets Group to Nexi in 2020-2021 and also been a central member of many post-merger integration projects over the years.Understanding, explaining and developing business models and business logic with owners (both industry and private equity owners), management and co-workers is a key driver for me. Along with being part of the strategic decision-making process, performance evaluation and business development.It is also very rewarding seeing the teams I am responsible for deliver with great quality within very short timelines and not always under optimal circumstances, including being able to grow new employees into taking significant roles.
