Responsible for new Commercial Vehicle ride heights, ground clearance and tyre clearance.Operating on a "Cradle to Grave" system, being the responsible engineer from very early pre-program architectural designs, right up to and including physical vehicle testing and sign off.

Responsible for under-body packaging for Powertrain components within an Plug-in Hybrid Electric vehicle.

Leading the Digital Pre-Assembly (Variation) team for Commercial Vehicles in Ford UK.This role involves;• Using 6 sigma tolerance analysis to ensure craftsmanship targets are met for fit and finish for all interfaces seen by the customer. • Identifying issues, scheduling and running meetings with all cross functional teams to drive design solutions.• Taking responsibility for all Instrument Panel, Body Exterior and Interior Trim variation.• Verifying released CAD and studio surfaces against craftsmanship requirements, raising surface change requests where required.• Liaising with external suppliers. • Ensuring team members are working efficiently towards deadlines.• Presenting program status at high management meetings.As part of this role I have been formally trained in Catia V5, GD&T and Teamcentre.
