An Engineering (Survey) graduate of the University of Cape Town with 5 years in industry (construction and mining surveying) before 28 years in banking with latter 24 years in leadership roles building Standard Bank’s international operations. Established and lead the development of the core global natural resources trading and financing franchises as well as various geographic strategies, including those in the CIS, Turkey and Middle East. Currently holding a number of non-executive Director roles whilst remaining active in natural resources and focused M&A deal origination. A personal interest in disruptive technologies and fintech.
