I'm a partner at Marval O’Farrell Mairal and specialize in intellectual property litigation with a focus on trademarks, domain names and industrial models and designs.My areas of practice include IP enforcement and anticounterfeiting –with vast expertise in preliminary injunctions and attachment and seizure measures–, general IP litigation, domain name recovery, and out-of-court claims. I represents client in opposition and cancellation proceedings both at the PTO and the Federal Courts. I also have extensive experience in pre-trial mediation proceedings, conducting negotiations and drafting settlement agreements. I graduated as a lawyer from Universidad de Belgrano in 2000, took post-graduate courses on Patent Law and IP Licensing at Universidad Austral and later became an IP agent. I actively participate in international IP conferences and lecture in Argentina and abroad on IP enforcement, litigation, and mediation. I also write articles for law journals and specialized publications and I’m a regular contributor to the INTA Bulletin. I'm also a member of the Colegio Público de Abogados de la Capital Federal (Buenos Aires Bar Association), the Asociación Argentina de Agentes de la Propiedad Industrial (Argentine IP Agents Association), the Association Internationale pour la Protéction de la Propriété Intellectuelle (AIPPI), and the International Trademark Association (INTA).
