The energy sector is constantly evolving, exploring new technologies and transforming the way we generate, distribute, and consume energy. As a senior energy executive, I am constantly changing, growing, and learning along with it. Just as with energy, I characterize my work as sustainable, renewable, and reliable, exercising a growth mindset, and an ability to adapt, innovate, and demonstrate resilience. For example, to meet the demands of once passive energy users now active energy consumers, I developed new data analytics and techniques to transform corporate strategy ultimately increasing customer intake by 50%.More opportunities to learn and grow came with untangling the complexity of work disruptions due to Covid-19 in a culture with a long history of learned helplessness. At the same time the demographics were changing due to attrition, retirement, unprecedented workload, and a new generation of workers looking for better opportunities. In response, I set expectations with leaders, provided clarity and direction for employees, mentored junior staff, planned successful employee engagement for a three-year time frame, and rebuilt internal business processes while meeting statutory deadlines and customer expectation of time-to-complete for infrastructure and rate applications. I am proud of turning an unengaged workforce and establishing and supporting a culture of personal empowerment and trust. It resulted in improved employee satisfaction, lower turnover, and a productive workforce in alignment with corporate objectives. I welcome the opportunity to connect with other energy professionals and those interested in creating a workplace culture where everybody thrives!Key Competencies: | Energy Transition Leadership | Strategic Planning | Operational Efficiency | Culture/ Change Management | Risk Management & Compliance | | Budgeting | Stakeholder Engagement | People Leadership | Crisis Management | Innovation & Adaptability | Emotional Intelligence | Diversity & Inclusion AdvocateTechnology: Microsoft Office Suite | Outlook | Power Sector Modeling: PROMOD | PLEXOS | EGEAS |Tableaux | PowerWorld | RTSIM | Statistical Modeling: R | MetrixND | SAS | SPSS | SQL |
