Responsible for the strategic development and growth of Nature Publishing Group's Academic Journals and NPG Pharma Solutions businesses and working closely with 17 learned and professional society partners, 49 journals and 29 staff. Recent successes include: the acquisition of publishing contracts for 'IBMS BoneKEy' a professional web community and the research journals 'Pediatric Research' and 'Genetics in Medicine'; the launch of 11 new fully open access journals publishing over 2,000 articles; the launch of four 'Supplement Series'; and the establishment of internal editorial offices in London and New York for 21 journals.

Creating commercially-driven publishing strategies, focussing on diversification.

Responsible for the acquisition of publishing contracts for the journals 'Public Health' and Transactions of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene'. Designed and launched Elsevier Pharma Solutions division. Managed the relocation and integration of The Medicine Publishing Group journals and staff.

Re-branded and relaunched the six 'Baillière's Clinics' monograph series as 'Best Practice & Research'. Developed and launched ' Paediatric Respiratory Reviews' (2011 Impact Factor 2.197) with Dr Warren Lenney.
