Pensioenfonds Horeca & Catering manages pensions for about 1.2 million (former) participants, employed by over 32.000 employers. Here I manage(d) several projects, amongst which: Participant Portal + Back Office: As a project manager / scrum master I manage that four in- and external teams implement releases of portal and back office automation functionality. With that, participants are invited go through 'customer journeys'. The participant is led past relevant information and requested to make choices. These are passed to, verified and processed directly into the back-office systems. Because an increasing number of participants can be reached digitally (also thru MijnOverheid) and STP is used, the operating costs decrease to the benefit of the participant.Employer Portal: in a project team that consists of 10 internal colleagues and in close cooperation with our external supplier, the team improves portal functionality for employers and related user groups, designs and implements new and/or improved business processes.An increasing number of employers is using the portal, which leads to less operating costs and reduced risk of not paying premiums (in time).Workplace renewal - project to replace/renew workplace related IT. Screens, Thin clients, VDI, Windows 10, Office 365, WLAN. Delivered the project proposal, solution outline, supplier selection. Project execution is ongoing. Secondary assignment besides project management is to improve internal project management practices: means/templates, collaboration, introduction of agile/scrum.

Organizing IT delivery (ITIL based) for a large utilities company (10.000+ employees), together with a large IT supplier. Projects include administative organization, interface development, quality assurance. This has led to improved customer satisfaction, improved service levels, cost reductions.

Identification, start and guidance of new CRM initiatives for TMI's Logistics business unit. This has led to the creation of a database with commercial information; improved commercial processes; better management reporting; more co-operation between related companies; intensified customer contact; increased knowledge of customers, competition and market with our commercial staff.

Improvement in cost estimation systems, cost accounting systems, time reporting systems and payroll processing; development of plans to modernise the technical infrastructure and replacement of outdated business applications. This took place at the Movers business unit of TMI, which was sold in 2003.

Management of the ICT department (10 people) of TMI’s Logistics business Unit, providing a reliable and secure technical infrastructure (Windows NT, TCP/IP, multiple locations), development and maintenance of business applications (Oracle) and improvement of internal customer satisfaction. Development of proposals for a combined ICT department, that arose after a merger.

Development of a new business application for the group travel department (nominated for the Computable IT-award). This application was used to support projects related to the World and European Championships Soccer in 1998 and 2000. Involved in a process that raised consciousness to become more customer focussed. This led to implementation of new business applications.
