Thrive Chicago is a collective impact initiative that works to align efforts by service providers, city agencies, funding organizations, and non-profits around outcomes that are proven to help children succeed from cradle to career.Led planning, analysis, and coordination for Thrive Chicago’s overall data needs and data infrastructure development.Project lead for implementation of the Thrive Data Toolkit, a set of tools that allow partners to securely share youth data with Chicago Public Schools and access real-time student data. Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment between needs of program staff and leadership and the technical requirements of a dashboard build out.Provide ongoing leadership and support for data-sharing efforts, including fostering communication among Chicago Public Schools, program partners and key stakeholders.

Train over 2,000 teachers and 100 school and district leaders on the tools and resources necessary to effectively use Schoolnet in daily practice.Managed district implementation of the 2014 USDOE Investing in Innovation (i3) grant in partnership with New Classrooms.

The Strategic Data Project (SDP) partners with school districts, charter school networks, and state education agencies to bring high quality research methods and data analysis to bear on strategic management and policy decisions. Completed the College-Going Diagnostic, a set of longitudinal and descriptive analyses that distill actionable information regarding students’ progression through high school, graduation and post-secondary attainment. Key findings led to management and policy changes to improve district graduation rates. Collaborated with agency stakeholders in the implementation of AchieveNJ, the new teacher evaluation system for New Jersey. Managed data collection and analytics of initiative, including multiple measures of performance such as classroom observations and student growth data. Presented data and analysis to cabinet members and school leaders. Developed new district and school performance reports based on key indicators of student pathways to success.

OFE was launched by Mayor Bloomberg and the Center for Economic Opportunity in 2006 as the first local government initiative in the country with the specific mission to educate, empower, and protect individuals and families with low incomes. OFE creates innovative programs, products, and services for New Yorkers so they can build assets and make the most of their financial resources.Led agency implementation of two federally funded randomized control evaluations of high profile financial capability pilot programs. Liaised with external evaluators to ensure study activities and data collection needs were met. Presented data and research findings to internal and external stakeholders including Commissioners and Mayor’s Office staff. Managed research assistants and consultants as needed. Managed portfolio of 16 evaluation grants and contracts with nonprofit partners including developing grant applications and scoring guides, memorandums of understanding, quarterly reporting templates, and impact analyses. Implemented a robust performance management system for the Financial Empowerment Center initiative, a $2 million community-based financial counseling program at more than 30 locations citywide. Trained all partner organizations and front-line staff. Developed and refined appropriate program metrics grounded in evidence-based practice to strengthen the evaluation of this initiative. Produced concept papers and program briefs for public distribution.

Conducted evaluation of 21st Century Community Learning Center (21CCLC) programs to enhance enrichment activities. Recorded data observations using the Out-of-School Time Observation Instrument to provide feedback to site coordinators and ensure high quality services. Assisted with drafting and editing of evaluation reports.

Evaluated the impact of the "Blueprint for Teaching and Learning in the Arts" on self-reported teacher practice. Developed online survey tool and implemented to citywide arts teacher population. Analyzed results and produced written report of findings.

Cristo Rey pioneered the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) model for inner-city education that has inspired a national network of over 28 schools serving low-income communities across the country offering the best college preparatory education available to youth. Managed Raiser’s Edge donor database and created financial reports to monitor fundraising goals for $12M capital campaign. Assisted in planning and implementation of special events, including annual scholarship fundraiser. Launched inaugural alumni association.
