UK Oracle User Group (UKOUG) is an independent not for profit membership organisation relying on volunteers to support business operations.• Board Director in a £2m TO organisation with a number of business and financial challenges• Project Lead for 2013 Task Force leading a diverse team of volunteers and Executive staff to review and re-define UKOUG products and services to improve relevance and provide membership growth• Leader UKOUG Strategy Working group• Key contributor to 2013 Resolution for Change to change UKOUG governance and organisational structure passed by membership at 2013.

Responsible for IBM’s complex Strategic Alliance with Oracle in Europe and UK and Ireland driving revenue growth whilst managing co-opetition. Developing and driving a cross line on strategic business plan to underpin all activity and drive opportunity identification and revenue. Identifying and driving growth strategies to increase IBM market share within the entire Oracle economy. Understanding and utilising leading ecosystem partners (VAD/VAR/ISV/CSI) to define programs that provide increased coverage and route to market to drive profitable growth for IBM Oracle solutions.- Understanding and interpreting the market position, market developments, opportunities and competitive threats relevant to alliance business - Identifying and driving growth strategy to increase IBM market share within the Oracle economy focused on market and prospects with significant and emerging opportunity- Acting as a senior sales executive providing expertise on sales strategies, customer presentations, proposal input and contract negotiations- Channel development utilising leading ecosystem partners from VAD/VAR/ISV/CSI to drive profitable revenue growth- Focal point for executive relationships and Alliance positioning. Building meaningful peer to peer relationships at all levels within organisation focused on business outcomes. - Effective business management, target achievement and effective action planning to correct any shortfalls.
