Product Line Director for Akamai's mobile delivery and intelligence features in the flagship ION​ line.Directed the next generation of device and cellular specific technologies to overcome what are some of the most pressing consumer issues with the Internet today.As the mobile megatrend permeates everything connected to the web, the need for ultrasmart delivery, routing, compression, variation, and presentation becomes critical to all major businesses. Integrated features yielded from Velocitude, as well as mobile-related intellectual property from subsequent acquisitions of Blaze and Cotendo into the Akamai product portfolio.Generated new, adjacent products in a robust approach to the evolving marketplace as it refocused on responsive web design, single page architecture, and native apps. Negotiated multiple partnerships with other technology companies to bolster Akamai's capabilities. Advised BU executives on potential acquisitions, adjacent business opportunities, and positioning of existing technologies in new ways.

Technical executive for Velocitude's mobile platform, product offerings, and related R&D. Created a best-of-breed web content adaptation system that powered the mobile web presence of many recognizable Fortune 500 brand names and prestigious organizations.Formed and ran all technical aspects of the firm: Engineering, Professional Services, Creative Services, Information Technology, and Technical Sales. Hired and structured a capable technology team of varying and balanced talents, with managers empowered in order to scale the organization very fast. Velocitude was acquired successfully by Akamai (NASDAQ:AKAM) in June 2010.

Cofounded a consultancy delivering award-winning web development projects on behalf of corporate clientele worldwide.Awards won for clients included Best Tourism Web Site in Florida from the Governor's office, and the Award For Publishing Innovation from the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers in the United Kingdom.Clients located in London, Tokyo, New York City, San Diego, Flagstaff, Tampa, and Miami. Specialized in data-driven sites with extremely flexible query engines under high load.Worked on open source software and collaborated with clients on publishing advanced R&D. Assisted in a successful acquisition of one client's business to Internet Brands (since in turn acquired by KKR, NYSE:KKR).
