Intelligent Finance was a “greenfield” internet and phone bank. Development commenced in early 2000 and it was launched in November 2000. Martin was a Senior Consultant and Lead Developer for the front-tier ASP/MTS on-line service request components, dealing with all aspects of customer usage of the bank and integration with the Java/EJB/Oracle mid-tier. (1) Martin was the Project Leader and Technical Architect for a global database, workflow application. With a user base of 17,000 people, it is now a critical part of the everyday workings of a London based law firm, Freshfields, with a network of international offices.(2) Martin was the principle designer and developer of a safety tracking system for the National Air Traffic Services (NATS). The system used MS-Exchange Public Folders to store safety issues raised during daily operations at the various NATS centres. MS Outlook provided the user interface and workflow functionality to ensure issues were addressed accordingly.(3). Martin was the Project Leader and Principle Designer/ Developer of a Work Management System based on the MS-Outlook and Microsoft Exchange platform for the Royal Bank of Scotland.
