After five years of planning work and having closed the financing, CSMAL is a two rinks state-of-the-art sports complex in the Quebec City area that opened August 1 2010. It uses state-of-the-art technologies in IT, refrigeration, HVAC, HD TV networks, etc... Most modern ice sports complex in Quebec, it uses the most advanced technologies in energy recuperation and recycling that optimizes player experience and spectator comfort, while minimizing the carbon dioxide footprint. Complete with a training center, both sports pub and snack bars, meeting rooms, corporate boxes, one rink holds 1260 spectators and the other 305. A unique place offering a unique experience. It already hosted a series of hockey events with local AAA clubs and NHL players.Part of the start-up, project and construction management team, working with the architects, engineers and construction crews, I made sure customer experience would be incomparable with a maximum "WOW" factor. I was in charge of setting up the entire operation: HR, labor contract negotiations, facility booking, etc... My mandate ended when the facility was running smoothly, profitable and the schedule filled almost the entire year.
