Martin is a former Director and Chairman of the Bentleys Network. Recently, he has been appointed as an independent member of the Audit & Risk Management Committees of Ipswich City Council and Lockyer Valley Regional Council. He is also employed as an Audit Consultant within the Bentleys Queensland Audit division. He is a former Audit Partner of the firm and has been working for Bentleys Queensland since 1987. He is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand and Chartered Accountants Ireland. Martin is a Registered Company Auditor and a Registered SMSF Auditor. His career experience also includes tenure in London with a former international affiliate firm, Moores Rowland.Martin has over thirty five years’ experience in public accounting. He specialised in the provision of Internal and External Audit, Assurance and Forensic Accounting services. He has worked with a diverse range of clients including building and construction industry operators, education providers, health and aged care providers, religious orders and not-for-profit organisations, local government and public sector, finance & superannuation, manufacturing and service industries.His expertise in financial and business investigations, coupled with his technical accounting and audit advisory skills, has provided Bentleys’ audit clients with invaluable services and counsel over the years.Martin has been a Director of Bentleys Australia for over 10 years and Bentleys New Zealand for 4 years. Martin is also a former Chair of the Bentleys’ National Technical Audit Committee.
