The Joint Competency Initiative for The Envelope Sector (JCI) is an ‘association of associations' comprising the technical and procurement leads of principal contractors, specialist engineers and consultants, sector bodies, awarding organisations and envelope contractors, with the aim of understanding, reflecting and setting out a vision for proportionate and practical requirements relating to both organisational and individual competence of those working in the glazing, cladding and roofing sectors, providing giving guidance on how organisations and individuals might comply with the requirements of the Building Safety Act.

Training Manager in charge of the training deprtment that covered both staff and customer training

I was responsible for the design, delivery and co-ordination of all customer and staff training. I developed the training department to be the best in the industry training around 1500 people a year. I also set up the department to by an NVQ Assessment Centre delivering NVQs in the fenestration industry

worked as a training consultant designing and delivering a range of training course

I was responsible for managing the team of trainers, keeping all accreditation with all awarding organisation up to date with high quality delivery. Also involved in securing new funding contracts. Also responsible for writing quality procedures and delivering commercial training courses
