"Na een internationale carrière in de halfgeleider- en mobiele telefoonindustrie besloot ik in 2018 mijn kennis en ervaring in te zetten voor de versnelling van de lokale en regionale energietransitie. Momenteel werk ik voor de energiecoöperatie Wattnu, waar ik betrokken ben bij het opzetten en uitvoeren van inspirerende projecten. Een paar hoogtepunten zijn onder andere het 1000-dakenproject, het solar carportproject en ons initiatief @Gooimeerenergie. Binnen het 1000-dakenproject ondersteunen we alle dakeigenaren bij het onderzoek en de mogelijke realisatie van zonne-installaties. Met 1100 geïdentificeerde daken in onze gemeente is er nog veel potentieel te benutten. Het solar carportproject heeft als doel om 33 parkeerplaatsen in de gemeente Gooise Meren om te vormen tot solar carports via lokale participatie. Momenteel wachten we op de omgevingsvergunning voor ons eerste project op de parkeerplaats de Kuil. Gooimeer Energie is een samenwerking tussen Wattnu, de gemeente en de ondernemersvereniging FIN, gericht op het minimaliseren van de gevolgen van netcongestie op bedrijventerrein Gooimeer te Naarden. Samen streven we naar duurzame oplossingen en een schonere toekomst. Laten we de energietransitie versnellen en samen bouwen aan een duurzamere wereld!"
