After successfully integrating the environmental sensors business in the ams organization, I switched to the Strategy and M&A department, where I am responsible for the definition and execution of a more effective integration methodology. - Defined and implemented post merger integration process and checklists - Successfully and timely integrated Cambridge CMOS Sensors in Cambridge UK and Incus Laboratories in Stokenchurch UK into the ams organization- Defined and managed successful the soft integration phase of Heptagon micro optics to enable undisrupted operation of the Heptagon business, while ensuring consolidated group reporting and integrated IT operations. - Successful and timely onboarding and integration of a 60 people ex-NXP design team in Beijing, China, including office and IT set up.- Started the integration of Princeton Optronics, New Jersey

Reporting to the CTO, responsible to start and grow the sensor business within NXP. Defined the first multi mode smart sensor product that is the world most accurate, smallest and lowest power product, ideally suited for wireless sensor networks in home and building automation. Installed the project team to develop the product. Defined the marketing plan and currently working on market introduction. Furthermore, I defined the product and technology roadmap for the coming years and I am currently working on building up the team.

Serving the top 5 mobile phone companies with cutting edge power management and audio Integrated Circuits. Full P&L responsibility. Member of Division Management Team. Transformed the business from bleeder to model profitability. Played an important role in the disentanglement of wireless business from NXP and the creation of ST Ericsson in the Netherlands. As country manager of ST Ericsson in the Netherlands also closely involved in the definition of collective labor agreement and obtaining agreement with the Dutch labor unions.

Member of the European Management Team, responsible for portfolio definition and execution of the low tier multimedia smart phones based on the Symbian Operating System (OS).

Singapore And United Kingdom

Sendo was a UK based mobile phone start up company. It developed, manufactured and sold mobile phones under both Sendo and Network Operator brands. Maximising customisation options as well as inventory turns were at the core of the business model of this small player in the mobile phone landscape. In the first two years I created an organization in Singapore, after which I transferred to headquarters in UK. I was VP product creation in the management team responsible for around 200 people worldwide and a budget of around 45M$.

Singapore

I established an autonomous mobile phone product creation centre in Singapore, including its infrastructure of suppliers, partners and the financial support of the Economic Development Board (EDB) of the Singapore Government. I was a member of the PCC Asia Pacific Management team as well as the Philips Innovation Centre Singapore. Successfully ramped a team of 110 people, 20M$ budget in 6 months and developed and introduced the Xenium branded mobile phone with integrated antenna.

France

I was responsible for the definition, product development, and release to manufacturing as well as maintenance of mobile phones until end of product life. With a team varying between 50 and 75 people and a budget between 10 and 15M$. Created an industry benchmark mobile phone, called ISIS, by introducing new technology platform and a revolutionary manufacturing principle.

In this function I successfully transferred the analog cellular activities from Southampton England, to Eindhoven in the Netherlands, and established a new team with the following mission:• World-wide customer support on existing system solutions;• Developments of modular turnkey solutions with Philips Components in Germany• Define future system architecture in close cooperation with team in Zurich, Caen and Nijmegen
