I'm a freelance copy editor and Dutch-English translator with more than 10 years' experience of working on books, newspapers, online news and websites.I have provided Dutch-English translations for books including Surf & Stay by Veerle Helsen and Maps That Made History by Martijn Storms (Uitgeverij Lannoo), as well as for Centraal Museum Utrecht and Amnesty International Nederland.As a copy editor or sub editor, I have worked with publishers including Research Professional News (Clarivate), the European Association for International Education, the Guardian, the Open University, Bradt Travel Guides and the Non-League Football Paper.I'm part of the 8am Playbook team at Research Professional News that was shortlisted for Best Newsletter in the British Society of Magazine Editors' 2024 Talent Awards.I'm also project manager for the National Talent Academy, overseeing the creation of courses and qualifications, having gained previous project management experience with SAM Learning.
