• Manage the full product lifecycle to ensure that customer requirements and the benefits (financial or otherwise) are achieved• Coordinate trials and product launches to support communications and training. Anticipate changes in customer/user needs; adapt products and create product retirement and transitioning plans• Consolidate expertise from multiple sources, including third party experts, to support and promote the development and sharing of specialist knowledge across the organisation• Manage methods, tools, techniques; selecting appropriately from plan-driven/predictive approaches or more adaptive (iterative and agile) approaches. • Contribute to the setting of standards for definition, security and integrity of database objects and ensures conformance to these standards• Manage configuration including installing and upgrading software and maintaining relevant documentation• Advise on application security, licensing, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery needs• Develop/maintain financial cost models to facilitate budgetary processes• Maintain an accurate cost forecast from actual costs whilst ensuring company-wide recoveries are maintained to the required level

• Responsible for and support the business in developing and supporting the Cost Base Management enabling toolsets• Assist in the continuous development and enhancement of the Cost Base Management toolset whilst gaining an understanding of the wide-ranging costs and recoveries associated with the portfolio of programmes and services• Investigate where potential process overlap contributes to overcharges and develop solutions to identify and track these• Liaise with service managers to fully understand billing mechanisms to identify potential commercial implications• Lead the transfer of the ongoing business processes into a more robust toolset to enable business change activities to a more stable platform• Configure reference data in the CBM toolset to enable the proliferation of budgets/plans to support the business change process• Develop and transfer cost models into a workflow controlled approval cycle• Define and implement opportunities to expand toolset use to further automate other business processes• Undertake quality testing and define/document billing model enhancements and processes and oversee user training across all systems• Transform management reporting visibility, using VBA in both Excel and Access, to create suite of 25 divisional and geographical reports and dashboards, linked to live system data• Enable company-wide financial transparency through design and development of financial data models

• Develop BI tools for project reporting and financial dashboards to provide direction and focus to implementing IT solutions and services• Manage a programme of IT projects to ensure that any deliverables take into account the current business strategic roadmaps and toolsets• Ensure IT driven objectives are adhered to, including ensuring process alignment through the local IM&T teams• Responsible for providing guidance and advice on the potential costs of requirements and support the customer lead in the event of any budget request submissions and subsequent challenge process • Manage the release of funding for investments• Facilitate a series of review/governance boards with the result being a fully authorised business case and an approved financial order supporting the value of the agreed investment• Reviewing and challenging CSC proposals for consistency with IT strategy from a cost, capability and time perspective in conjunction with client PM • Hold regular project review sessions to ensure progress is in line with agreed SLAs, budgets and milestone plans• Broker the prioritisation of activities where resource is an issue and ensuring any changes in scope are covered by change note approval prior to implementation of the required changes
