Martyn’s ambition is to be a Leader within a UK Master Trust business, with a goal to developing the leading Master Trust proposition in the UK and achieving commercial success in terms of AUM growth. He left his client facing role at Mercer to follow this ambition.In a career at Mercer spanning 22 years, Martyn has been focussed on the success of the Mercer businesses he has led or been part of. He has contributed to this success by leading and managing businesses to achieve budgets (including revenue growth improvement), through driving revenue growth within his own strong and trusted client relationships and by contributing to proposition development, particularly on investment strategy design.Martyn leads and manages people by example. He has shown many examples of adapting leadership style to new markets, cultures and ways of working in a short period of time. He is able to get comfortable quickly with the complexity and ambiguity of new markets and businesses.His personable and strong character means that he has achieved results throughout his career. He has consistently looked for new challenges which take him out of his comfort zone and he has never disappointed when given new responsibilities and goals.
