In this role, I manage IT security / compliance vendor and customer contract negotiations by coordinating with the legal team. It is important to highlight that I administer a $1M+ budget for BAU and projects. Furthermore, I deliver numerous business enabler projects, including ERP implementation (Integration Layer), MSSP onboarding, UEM tooling, and MDM implementation. As a part of this job role, I directed numerous business enabler projects, including global telephony replacement and group migration from Google Apps to O365. In addition, I ensured IT service delivery to 700 users with eight support staff across three continents. It is worth mentioning that I spearheaded the IT components of the reverse acquisition of Microlease into Electro Rent. Moreover, I managed 150 servers and systems accessibility across nine time zones.My accomplishments within this role are the following:• Unified technology in one cloud provider by managing the cloud migration from AWS and Rackspace to Microsoft Azure.• Developed and managed a budget of over $13M while slashing high costs and expenses.• Guaranteed the delivery of round-clock support to the business by setting up a global 24/5 helpdesk with engineers based on three continents.• Led IT Integration of the merger between Microlease and Electro Rent with more than 700 employees combined.• Reduced costs of intracompany calls and brought regions closer together by implementing a single telephony platform across all global businesses.• Delivered improved communication experience for the combined business by managing the transition of the unified business to Office 365.• Introduced and oversaw IT Service Delivery SLA’s / OLA’s to set expectations of the business when interacting with the IT Service Delivery function.
