This is accomplished by entering and confirming purchase orders sent to me directly.Checking my customer's websites for product requirements is also part of my routine. Acknowledging these orders also involves confirmations and sending ASNs, Advance Shipping Notifications.Researching and recommending fasteners for specific applications is also a part of the service I provide to my customers. This involves tracking down a supplier and negotiating for the best prices to give my customers the best value for their dollar.

As a route salesman I traveled to various locations and cities to service my customers. Working long days was par for the course during the busy Summer months.In 2004 I received a "Top Sales Performer" award for my efforts and was recognized by my peers and the corporate management team.

My job skills were tailored to supplying and manufacturing tools specific to my customers needs. This required tool design as well as machine set up and production of the tools needed.Reading blueprints was a must and still is today.
