He will be focusing on exceptionally serving K-12 clients in North Texas and beyond.Prior roles include K-12 Market Lead and Business Center Operating Leader responsible for the Buildings Group in Texas’ management, financial, and performance objectives across four offices at $35M in gross fees. He is responsible for the attainment of financial operating results and objectives of the BC, the development of annual operating budgets and the preparation and implementation of the BC business plans and practice area goals, with a primary focus on technical excellence, growth and integrated design objectives. Marty is a recognized leader in our market sectors who inspires staff to work as a team toward our operational objectives, yielding successful projects and ecstatic clients.• Led the operations of four Buildings Offices in Texas, approximately 35M in gross fees• Developed operational systems and processes for project execution and team management in education, commercial and workplace sectors• Oversaw recruiting, hiring, staffing, retention, employee compensation, employee communication, professional development, and operational performance of the 200-member team including Architecture, Design and Engineering• Led revenue planning, annual expense budgeting, operational analysis, and forecasting for the Texas Buildings group• Coordinated the sharing of resources and expertise across Stantec groupsPrior to the merge Marty worked for SHW Group since 2000, starting as an intern architect, learning the craft of architecture and moving into a Senior Project Management role.
