Designs, develops, layouts, documents and supervises manufacturing, testing and application of kits and handler interface solutions. Interfaces with customer, supplier, sales, customer service engineer and team members with minimal guidance. • Follow engineering procedures and specifications to develop Kit related mechanical designs. Generate Design Documentation, detail part drawings per ASME 14.5 standard, Assembly drawings and Bills of Materials.• Designs and monitors the development of device kit and/or modified designs.• Effects kit design refinement and/or advancement to meet constant changes in customer preferences or requirements.• Provides services to kit users on kit applications and technology.• Actively participates in all phases of the project, including requirement definition, design, development, research, fabrication, testing/integration, customer interface, maintenance, safety and economic utilization used in the manufacture of device kits.• Modify fabricated parts from redlined drawings or verbal instruction.• Generate Engineering Change Orders and Bill of materials• Assures on-time availability of kit design to manufacturing and customers.• Support manufacturing floor as required.• Other duties as requested.

• Provides design of jigs and tools needed in the assembly and disassembly of Hard Disk Drive (HDD) and its components.• Design/Maintain jigs that support the SSD (Solid State Device) production lines.• Respond and Provide customer audited reports that satisfies the requirements.• Assist in the procurement of design jigs and tools. Close coordination to supplier pertaining to inquiry about design.• Provides quotation master list and inspection sheets of the designed jig/equipment.• Provides and perform design verification test of the designed jig/equipment.• Design a high quality but low cost jig with consideration on 5’s activity.• Ensures quality of design to the satisfaction of the product requirement.• Develops and improves jigs/machine to improve productivity and quality. • Respond to all trouble and emergency calls; prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports for management updates.• Provide a PM checklist on the designed jig/equipment.• Performs other function as may be assigned from time to time by superior.• Checks maintain and observe proper housekeeping.
