Responsible for the accurate processing of Trade Finance and Letter of Credit products as requested by our clients and within expected time frames.Responsibility for the examination, advising, acceptance, amendments and of documentary Letters of Credit.Ensure Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits as well as international shipping terms and practices.Ensure that the conditions of the credit are practical.Ensure That the Bank’s interest and our client’s interest is protected.Ensure that documentary/amendment conforms to the requirements of the Bank Act.Ensure That proper drawing instructions are given to the advising bank and reimbursing bank regarding drawings under documentary.Ensure that final product is accurate and has been completed within established Service Level standards.Co-operate with and assist other members of the personnel with the completion of the day’s work and any other tasks that could be associated with this position.handle day to day trade services requirements of customers falling within the delegated portfolio, applying a customer oriented and relationship approach Ensure that all documentation supporting or relating to trade services transactions is sought and ascertained.Complete and follow checklists per type of trade services transaction to ensure a consistent operation when working out a trade services transaction. Diaries and monitor trade transactions, i.e. reimbursement claims to be honored and payments actioned to be taken on future dates.ensure that all related incoming and outgoing funds in relation to payments are positioned and timely liaison is maintained with the Treasury Unitensure payments are promptly prepared and coordination of all trade services activity
