Most of my professional career I have been a pediatric nurse and have obtained a wide variety of skills which allowed me to provide care on many different levels. I am now a Family Nurse Practitioner with a MS degree from Georgetown University and currently work in the urgent care setting. I began my career in the float pool at South Carolina’s #1 Children’s hospital. I started in the medical/surgical zone of care and eventually expanded my skill set to include “progressive care” and then critical care. I feel fortunate to have extensive experience in pediatrics as well as primary care for patients of all ages. The knowledge learned in the field of nursing is never ending and I am excited for experience along the way.
