As Event Facilitator, I am the first person in contact with potential renters of our building and I assist in designing contracts and billing renters. I work with renters to plan and execute events big and small, including (but not limited to) quinceaneras, weddings, birthday parties, memorials, classes and lessons, concerts, and festivals. On the day of an event, I lead the Event Staff in setting up for the event, attending to the needs of our renters throughout the event, and cleaning up at the end. Unrelated to my role as Event Facilitator, I have also taken on some other responsibilities at the CCC. I manage and schedule the building's janitorial services, send out thank you letters to our donors and membership expiration reminders, and am teaching some ceramics classes. During our buildings' closure due to COVID-19, I assisted with CCC's Art From Home on Instagram, the community forum on Facebook, and other social media postings.
