I serve as the Assistant Director for FreshDance, a dance ensemble exclusive to freshmen students. I collaborate with the director about administrative and creative decisions regarding the learning and artistic processes leading to the cumulative biannual concerts.

As a current Special Education teacher, I provide Reading Intervention services to students in 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades. I also collaborate with the ELA and Math teachers to provide push-in support targeted to students' unique IEP goals and Specially Designed Instruction. - Previously, I taught 2nd and 3rd grades (separately) for all subject areas, including students with specialized services. I was identified as a model classroom for my Guided Reading instruction, planning, and group structure.

As the lead teacher, I fostered a creative, intellectual classroom environment that incorporated the American Ballet Theatre early childhood curriculum. - As an administrative assistant, I led communication with families, facilitated community events, and collaborated in organizing performances.

As a dance teaching artist fellow, I led dance/movement classes for grades Pre-K - 8. I engaged students in my curriculum of movement fundamentals, long-term choreographic projects, practicing positive social skills, discovering and representing personal identity, and collaboration. I encouraged students to integrate both their academic and artistic exploration in order to foster strong, global citizens.

For my second Drexel Co-op, I shadowed some of the dance and creative movement teachers at The Creative Living Room, as well as led sections of the movement-based classes for children in grades Pre-K - 4. I also gained administrative experience by shadowing the administrator.

As one of my Drexel Co-ops, I shadowed the Physical Education teacher during Kindergarten-fourth grade P.E. classes, and I observed and instructed students with movement and dance lessons. I also shadowed both of the first grade teachers, helping students one-on-one and leading the class as a whole at times.

I served as an ESP (Education Support Personnel) assistant for the elementary Special Education summer camp by engaging students with intellectual disabilities in sensory-stimulating art activities, as well as conceptual projects in math, science, and social studies.
