About Mary Katica
I am an energetic designer with a ridiculous bias towards creating, and testing new ideas. For me, nothing is more invigorating than connecting with real people, codesigning with them, and creating joy through design.I have focused most of my career on solving the audacious and complex challenges of healthcare with design. For the past seven years, I have had the incredible privilege to work at Kaiser Permanente’s Innovation Consultancy. Working side by side a brilliant interdisciplinary team, I use design to tackle healthcare challenges and create meaningful impact for our 10 million members and the communities Kaiser Permanente serves. As a lead designer on the team, I lead design projects, refine our teams practices and approaches, and help set our creative and strategic direction.
