Through obtaining a one-year grant, secured, created a marketing plan emphasizing program growth in a position empty for two years. Lead coordinator of name change to Retrieve a Golden of the Midwest to better represent states served, involving rebranding all broadcast, print, and social media. Implemented first research survey in 32 years to determine adopter demographics leading in part to my securing their first major sponsor (Audi for $5K) for Goldzilla, the biggest fundraiser. Hired and directed a professional video company to produce their first RAGOM video currently viewed on ragom.org/our-story.

Recruited students for undergraduate programs and MBA. Worked with faculty members on curriculum development and research advancement. Taught in both programs while publishing and conducting conference presentations nationally and globally. Received many honors noted on resume. Led these programs in addition to starting and growing Center for Women Entrepreneurs at Chatham.

• As founding director of Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship, spearheaded launch of the center and programs to provide resources for women in western Pennsylvania seeking to expand existing businesses and to support women-owned start-ups. Conducted consulting; built relationships with local, national, and international communities and associations; and developed community partnerships and referral networks. Actively fund-raised for center and individual programs.• Created and taught entrepreneurship curriculum; conducted and presented research on women’s entrepreneurship and leadership.

• As founding director of the Center for Women Entrepreneurs, was responsible for the formulation and funding of the Center’s programs and seminars designed to support economic development of minority and women-owned businesses; developed relationships with local, national, and international communities and associations, community partnerships, and referral network.• Developed and taught entrepreneurship curriculum, including new entrepreneurship minor; conducted research on women’s entrepreneurship and leadership and presented at national and international conferences. Grew Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) women business owner certification from 11 in state to over 150 while developing support programs. Generated new sponsors such as Target Corporation, Honeywell, Carlson Companies, and Lurie Besikof Lapidus and Company LLP.
